Hello Beautifuls,
Every week,
invites her community to write and share a letter from Love. It’s a practice I do almost daily, first thing in the mornings, with a cup of tea, while I watch the sky lighten. Mornings are challenging for me. I am never sure I’m ready to do another day, so I’ve collected many practices to get me through the first couple of hours: being outside, yoga, meditation, prayer, and now love letters from Love. I thought I’d share this one, because I’ve been trying it, when I remember, and I swear to you, things feel different. Maybe not always okay, but more bearable. This one was especially short and seemed to say exactly what I needed to hear. Maybe it will speak to you too.Dear Love,
What would you have me know today?
Dear Little Bee,
Open, open, open. Try approaching all things as if you loved them like you loved your four-pawed beloved, Caly. As if each task, each interaction, each conversation were a gift of love unfolding in front of you.
I love you infinitely,
Love
Oh, this is a fantastic idea! I ended up there this morning, focusing on a joyful dream I had during the night while writing my morning pages. It set a lovely tone for the morning!
What a wonderful practice, Jocelyn. One of the resource techniques I use is to meditate upon my perfect nurturers—they tell me exactly what I need to hear in the moment. I’m sure your letters of love are so empowering and encouraging. Thanks for this, friend.
